The process

How admission works

Four straightforward steps. Every application is considered by the admissions office — nothing is approved automatically.

Apply

Complete the admission form with the applicant and guardian details, and upload the required documents.

Entrance assessment

Applicants sit a short assessment in English Language and Mathematics, appropriate to the class applied for.

Review

The admissions office reviews the application, the assessment and the previous school record.

Offer and enrolment

Successful applicants receive an admission number, are assigned to a class, and get portal access.

We admit into JSS 1 for the full six-year programme, and accept transfer students into other classes where a place is available.

Common questions

Admission questions

We admit into JSS 1 for the full six-year programme, and accept transfer students into other classes where a place is available. Senior secondary entrants choose the Science, Arts or Commercial stream.

The applicant's birth certificate or age declaration, the most recent result or testimonial from their present school, and a recent passport photograph. Transfer students should also bring a transfer certificate.

Yes. Applicants sit a short assessment in English Language and Mathematics, appropriate to the class applied for. Senior secondary applicants are also assessed in the subjects of their chosen stream.

You can check the status of your application at any time using the tracking link issued when you applied, or by signing in to the portal. The admissions office also contacts the telephone number on the application.
